Kensington Academy Planning Application


The Planning Application for the Kensington Academy and Leisure Centre was submitted last month. Comments and objections must be submitted before 20th July, so there is very little time left for this.


The Grenfell Action Group was formed in 2010 to oppose these plans. We have worked ceaselessly since then trying to hold the Council to account over their many breaches of National, London-wide and Local planning policies, and their attempts to  distract attention from these, and mislead the public into supporting this gross overdevelopment of the Lancaster Green area, and the damage it will cause to residential amenity in that area.

If, like us, you are opposed to these plans, you should write to the Council and make this very clear before 20th July.


The Grenfell Action Group recently launched its own blog, the Lancaster Green Blog, which confronts some of the issues of particular concern to Lancaster West residents.
