I would be grateful if anyone could supply me with more information about this photo and the occupant of the house? According to the archive record of Mary Miller it was taken in Dec 1967 "...from Bramely Road looking west. I admired the tenacity of the householder. I seem to recall it was an elderly man. There was something about him in the local paper. But a few weeks later he had succumbed to the pressure and the house was destroyed. I think it all happened round the time they blew up Maxilla Gardens for filming with Marcello Mastroianni."
